Beau Scott, Sr. UI Engineer
I’ve been a UI junky for about 6 years now. I started with rich javascript/dhtml clients and Ajax, but now almost entirely consumed by Flex and ActionScript. I helped lead the effort to move our product from Wicket (a Java-based Ajax framework) to Flex 2 with FDS, and more recently to Flex 3/AIR and BlazeDS. Other past experience includes RemedyMD, an EMR and practice management service provider where I was a senior engineer with responsibilities including rich client programming as
well as designing an ORM and db abstraction connector to a universal medical database, all done in PHP. I’m an active contributor to the rich client community, including Flex.
